Progress on road works at North Richmond until 13 March 2019

Gross River Crossing, urgent meeting, 5 December, 2018
Redbank Communities, Roads and Maritime Services and Hawkesbury City Council are working together to develop a crossing of the Grose River and Yarramundi connecting Grose River Road and Springwood Road.
A community meeting will be held on Wednesday 5 December 2018 at 7.30pm in the North Richmond Community Centre. All are welcome to attend.
Matters to be discussed during the course of the evening will include:
• The requirement of the Voluntary Planning Agreement for a new crossing
• The requirement for the link as identified by Roads and Maritime at the time of the original Redbank Development – TMap Findings
• The requirement for the link as confirmed by Councils recent Transport Study
• The benefits of an alternative Grose River Crossing that is above the 1:100 Flood Level. The currently proposed crossing is 5 meters (2 storeys) below the 1:100 flood level
• Next steps – where to from here.
